I Find

I find beauty in many things
After being lost for some time
I’m finally discovering what
Gives me a peace of mind

I find happiness in bits and parts
I discover hope from watching others
I lose myself in the things that I love
And I am trying hard not to give up

I find clarity when writing my thoughts
My head circles itself
But I keep going
I won’t ever stop

I find friends when I’m at my worst
There’s no reason to live life in fear
I will live with who I am
Each day I grow and learn

I find my soul when I run
I smile with accomplishments
In carefree moments I become who I once was
But I understand that there is much in life to come

I find knowledge from books and teachers
Teachers of all sizes and ages
And I always want to know more
I’m discovering what I have a passion for

I find the world at my fingertips
I begin to reach
I stand up
I carry it
