Bracelets With Meaning

On one wrist I wear a bracelet that says "Keep it Wild."  On my other wrist I wear a bracelet that says "Conquer."  These bracelets instill a sense of power in me.

I keep it wild by living unpredictably.  Yes, I plan, but there is always room for spontaneity.  I keep it wild by running different places, going on new adventures, and meeting new faces.  I keep it wild by dancing in airports, dressing up silly, and laughing out loud.  I keep it wild because it feels right to me.  I won the right to keep it wild because I won the bracelet in a race.  I ran hard. I ran wild.  I won.

I wear a leather bracelet with the silver plated word "Conquer" on it.  My sister gave it to me.  I guess she believes that I can conquer anything.  I've gone through ups and downs and wrongs and rights.  Now that I've had time to reflect and to grow, I know that I can conquer.  I can break down any wall.  I can leap across any river.  I can climb any mountain.  I can conquer.  Conquering involves overcoming the fear that don't let you succeed.

I'm going to keep moving forward.  I am going to conquer.  I'm going to keep it wild.  If I'm ever losing hope, I know that I can look down at my bracelets.  I will see the phrase, "Keep it wild" on one wrist and the word "conquer" on the other.  I don't give up.  I know I can succeed.
